People love to tell stories but often, embedded in these tales is a deeper meaning even the storyteller probably isn’t aware of. But you can be, with mindfulness.

When you listen “behind the story”, you hear not just the details of a specific situation, but also our common human struggle. If you then acknowledge that deeper meaning, you can open doors to connect deeply with people, even those you don’t know well. Words spoken from this place are powerful and have the ability to shift you and others into a deeply connected place.

In this episode, I talk about listening “behind the story”, then speaking simply and directly to people from a place of authentic, natural, connected authority in a way that is both nurturing and supportive. Ask questions or sign up for our newsletter!Would love to hear if you try this!
